Life is a Miracle of Miracles
How lucky we are to be part of this miracle
Life is a miracle. To think that just 300,000 years ago humans (homo sapiens) didn’t exist. That life started almost as a speck of dust and grew more and more complex to give rise to an incredible variety of animals, plants, and us! To think that we still don’t understand the origins of life. But how wonderful that we even have the ability to crack it, to know the mysteries of the universe.
Humans with all their foibles, emotions, cognition, and love have revamped the environment around them. In good and bad ways. And we have the power to turn the bad into the good if we so choose. If we use this miraculous life well.
And the biggest miracle of it all is life giving birth to new life. To think that we can produce new life! That’s God bestowing us with miraculous powers. And the joys of watching young life grow and blossom is nothing shy of heaven on Earth.
How lucky we are to be part of this miracle. To live it, experience it, feel it. Oh do we waste this miracle! With our constant mind chatter, our anger, our fears, holding us back, from fully breathing in this miracle.
God give us the strength to live fully in this miracle, to live this miracle true to who we are, to turn some of the bad into good, and most importantly, to create more miracles.
